STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Sophomore goalie Cara Gallagher (Massapequa, N.Y.) earned America East Women's Soccer Performer of the Week Monday after another outstanding week of play. Albany's Chloe Borasky was named the league's Rookie of the Week.
 
Gallagher did not allow a goal through two games last week, notching her fifth shutout in her last six games and seventh of the season.  She has allowed just two goals in her last six appearances. Gallagher has helped the Seawolves make it five straight wins, the longest streak in the program's Division I history.
 
Stony Brook returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 20, as it travels to New Hampshire for a 7 p.m. game before returning home for Senior Day on Sunday at 1 p.m.
