STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook University Athletics celebrated excellence in academics and athletics at its annual Wolfie Awards banquet on Monday evening. The department honored its student-athletes for all of their hard work and dedication after a year of great success in the classroom and in their respective sports.
In total, the department handed out 27 awards to it student-athletes. The award categories were as follows: Freshman of the Year (male/female), Sophomore of the Year (male/female), Junior of the Year (male/female), Senior of the Year (male/female), Graduate of the Year (male/female), Best Dressed (male/female/team), NSCA All-American Award (male/female), Danni Kemp Teammate of the Year (male/female), Seawolves Impact Award (male/female), Comeback Athlete of the Year, Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year (male/female), Noah Farrelly Spirit of the Seawolf Award (male/female), Athletic Director Award (male/female) and Community Service Award (team).
