Hilton Head, SC -- - Martha Barrett, Barbara Affertsholt and Esther Forrester each won their respective singles matches, but the Seawolves could not capture the doubles point and faltered against Gardner-Webb Friday morning, 4-3. It marked the fifth straight dual match loss for the Seawolves, who fall to 4-5 on the year and finish their spring trip 0-3.

Stony Brook lost both the one and two doubles matches and was forced to default at the third spot.

Karen Hansen nearly pulled off the victory at the third singles spot, but fell, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3.
