Princeton, N.J. - Junior Jackie Nunez led the Stony Brook track and field team with an eighth-place finish in the 1500m at the IC4A/ECAC Championships.

Nunez ran the race in 4:35.21. She will compete in the NCAA East Regional qualifying meet in two weeks.

In other results, Dale Summerville finished 14th in the 5000m (15:05.96); and Craig Matuza placed 16th in the shot put (15.02m) and 22nd in the discus (41.47m).
