STONY BROOK, NY - Stony Brook University and CollegeSports.com have teamed up to launch GoSeawolves.org (http://www.goseawolves.org/) the official site of Stony Brook University athletics. The site contains features and applications that will bring Seawolves alumni and fans closer than ever to their favorite Stony Brook teams and student-athletes. CollegeSports.com is a business unit of CSTV: College Sports Television (http://www.collegesports.com), the home of college sports.
"With the ever increasing focus of on-line information sharing, media requests and student-athlete recruiting, having a top tier website is imperative in today's era of college athletics," said Stony Brook's Athletic Director Jim Fiore. "The quality of our new website now rivals that of any Division 1 intercollegiate athletic program in the country. I am very proud of the members of our staff who worked diligently for the past 12 months to make this come to fruition."

Simpler and Easier Navigation - using a new homepage layout with several tabbed sections to allow for more information to be presented to the fans in a clean and simple manner, so they are just one click away from every major section of the site
New Stony Brook Logo - new website emphasizes Stony Brook's new interlocking "SB" logo
Online Store - the official Stony Brook Seawolves online store provides fans with officially licensed merchandise and apparel; fans can browse and buy in specific departments such as outerwear, specific sports and brands, accessories, and more
Latest Technology - the new Seawolves' website utilizes the latest technology in layout and broadens fan interaction through Gametracker, College Sports Pass (live and archived audio and video broadcasts), and fan contests
"Gameday Central" - a new tabbed feature at the top of the site's home page informs Seawolves' fans on what events are coming up, local weather, ticket information and more
News, statistics, schedules and rosters - of all Stony Brook's men's and women's teams
