Bethlehem, Pa. - The Stony Brook women' s tennis team, led by a 4-0 performance by Patricia Gomez, earned a split with Howard and Lehigh on Sunday afternoon in Bethlehem, Pa. The Seawolves started the day with a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Howard and fell to Lehigh 6-1 in their second matchup of the day.

Stony Brook breezed to victories at the top three spots to begin the first match against Howard, as Anne Cathrine Valle (6-1, 6-0), Patricia Gomez (6-0, 6-0) and Georgia Bushell (6-1, 6-0) won at No. 1 through No.3, respectively.
