The Stony Brook women's tennis team was swept by Boston University on Sunday afternoon in Boston, Mass.
BU started off the afternoon by winning the singles point as the team of Valle/Bushell fell 8-4 while Gomez/Conching lost 8-4.
The Seawolves lost at the top five singles slots. Anne Cathrine Valle lost 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1, Patricia Gomez fell 7-6, 5-7, 11-9 at No. 2, Georgia Bushell and Lauren Conching both fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, and Olesya Ianovitch fell 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5.
The Seawolves return to action on March 20 when they take on Providence.
