Jamaica, N.Y. - Freshman Shaun Krawitz qualified for IC4A's in the 3000-meter steeple chase at the St.John's Collegiate Classic on Saturday afternnoon. His time of 9:15.91 was also a school record for the event, and was good enough for third place in the meet.

Running in his last collegiate race for Stony Brook, senior Chris Hunt broke the school record for the 800-meters with a time of 1:52.49, finishing just .34 of a second outside the IC4A qualifying mark.

The IC4A and ECAC qualifiers will take part in the Championships next weekend at Yale.
