The Stony Brook women's tennis team was downed 6-1 by Lehigh on Saturday afternoon in Bethlehem, Pa. Hana Chovanova picked up the lone win for the Seawolves, earning a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles. With the loss, Stony Brook's record drops to 4-3 this season.
Chovanova eased to a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles for the Seawolves, but it would be the only point the team would earn against Lehigh. Victoria Vasile lost a tough match at No. 6 singles 3-6, 6-0, 10-5 in the super tibreak, but the rest of the Seawolves lineup was ousted in straight sets.
