Leonora Joy took home a first place finish in the 1500-meters and Sarah Herbert finished first in the 800-meters to lead the Seawolves at the Yale Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
Joy finished first in a time of 4:36.40, and followed by teammate Lauren Gengo who finished third in 4:49.49. Herbert ran to first in the 800 in a time of 2:15.28, while Angeline Washburn took third in 2:18.38. Sara Beresford was second in the 3000-meters in a time of 10:27.71.
On the men's side, Brian Farrell was the top SB finisher of the day, taking second in the 1500-meters in a time of 3:59.78. Ken Guerin was third in the discus with a throw of 42.71-meters, while Mubaarak Muhammad was third in the triple jump with a leap of 13.81-meters.
The Seawolves are back in action on Saturday at the America East Championships at Binghamton University.
