Stony Brook, N.Y. - Over 50 Stony Brook student-athletes participated in the 2005 Stony Brook University Welcome Wagon on Friday afternoon. The Welcome Wagon assists incoming freshman as they arrive on campus for their first day as a member of the Class of 2009.

Donning their gameday jerseys, the Seawolves fanned out all over campus to help newcomers move into their residence halls. Members of several teams all helped carry refrigerators, desks, clothes and much, much more throughout the day as they did a terrific job in welcoming freshmen to one of the top universities in the nation.

The move-in was made easier thanks to a beautiful sunny day and a light atmosphere as the student-athletes enjoyed meeting their fellow Stony Brook students.

The event marked the beginning of the 2005-06 academic year as students will arrive on campus throughout the weekend to prepare for classes that begin next week.
