New Haven, Conn. - Sarah Herbert won the 1500-meters to lead the Stony Brook outdoor track and field team at the Yale Invitational on Sunday, crossing first in 4:40.80.

Other scoring placings came from Kerry Salzano, who finished third in the 3000-meters (10:27.00) and Melvin Genao, who was third in the 400-meters (50.03). Both performances were personal bests.

Justin Miller (43.56), Julien Lemarie (42.64) and Kenneth Guerin (41.78) finsihed fifth, sixth and eighth respectively in the discus, while Mubaarak Muhammad took fourth place in the triple Jump with a season's best jump of 13.70m.
