Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Laura Huet (Carrickmines, Ireland) was named America East Cross Country Women's Co-Performer of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday.

Huet finished 25th out of 347 runners on Friday afternoon as she led the women's team to a fifth-place finish (out of 47 teams) at the Paul Short Invitational. The Seawolves are now ranked third in the Northeast Region.

The Stony Brook men's and women's cross country teams return to action on Sunday, October 7 for the Metropolitan Championships.
