Bethlehem, Penn. - The Stony Brook women's tennis team picked up its first win of the 2007 season as the Seawolves topped the Lehigh Mountain Hawks, 5-2, on Friday afternoon. With the win the Seawolves improve to 1-2 on the year.

Stony Brook opened up the match with a 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point. Paola Rodolfi and Erica Federgreen won at No. 1 doubles, 8-4, and Brooke Flanigan and Claudia Sanua won at No. 2 doubles, 8-4, to give Stony Brook the doubles point.

In singles, Rodolfi bested Jacobi 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot, Federgreen won at No. 3, 7-5, 6-1, Vicki Vovsha won at No. 5, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2, and Shaina Murugan won at No. 6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6.

The Seawolves return to action on Saturday when they take on Bucknell.
