School Record Falls at IC4A/ECAC Championships

Boston, Mass. - Junior Alex Felce (Stroud, England) set a new school record in the men's 1,000-meter during his trial run at the IC4A Championship in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday. His time of 2:24.68 was fast enough to qualify for tomorrow's final and second overall in his heat. Also advancing to a final was junior Laura Huet (Carrickmines, Ireland) who will race in the ECAC final in the 3,000-meter tomorrow.

Also competing for the men's team were juniors Tim Hodge (Tawa, New Zealand) and Daire Bermingham (Portmarnock, Ireland) in the 3,000-meter. Hodge ran a season-best of 8:17.73, finishing tenth, while Bermingham crossed 20th in 8:33.25. Sophomore Carolina Cortes (Woodmere, N.Y.) was the other member of the women's team to run, competing in the 1,000-meter.
