Princeton, N.J. - Junior Tim Hodge (Tawa, New Zealand) set a school record in the men's 5,000-meter race while also qualifying for the NCAA Regional at the IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend. Sophomore Holly Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) also broke a school record in the 3,000-meter and sophomore Carolina Cortes (Woodmere, N.Y.) improved upon her NCAA Regional qualifying time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Hodge shaved off .14 seconds off his previous record time crossing in 14:10.36, fast enough for eighth overall. Van Dalen took fourth in her race, finishing in 9:32.41, almost a full second faster than school record time her sister Lucy set earlier this season. Cortes took 11th in the steeplechase, knocking almost six second off her season-best time.
