Boston, Mass. - Stony Brook's women's track team competed in a number of events at the Valentine Invitational in Boston on Friday night. Senior Lisa Voltaire (Stockholm, Sweden) took third place in the 1,000m in a time of 2:53.44, an ECAC qualifying time. Other season bests came from sophomore Kristal Conklin (Middletown, N.Y.), who ran a 2:17.48 in the 800m, sophomore Mary O'Connor (Waterford, Ireland) (2:18.10 - 800m) and sophomore Jillian Fauser (East Northport, N.Y.) (2:22.13 - 800m).

Up next for the track and field teams are the America East Championships on Friday and Saturday in Boston.
