Junior Holly Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) won the 3,000m to lead Stony Brook's track and field teams at the IC4A/ECAC Championships at Princeton University this past weekend. Senior Tim Hodge (Tawa, New Zealand) led the men's squad with an 11th-place finish in the 5,000.
Van Dalen won the 3,000 in 9:20.45, three seconds short of the school record set by her twin sister earlier this season.
Senior Laura Huet (Carrickmines, Ireland) finished 10th in the 5,000 (17:02.31). Junior Lucy Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) also placed 10th, crossing in 2:07.53 in the 800.
Senior Lisa Voltaire (Stockholm, Sweden) took 23rd in the 1,500 (4:42.29), a season best.
Hodge took 11th in the 5,000 (14:16.93), also a season best.
Senior Daire Bermingham (Portmarnock, Ireland) finished 16th in the 1,500 in a time of 3:50.65.
