Bloomington, Ind. - For the third time during the 2010-11 academic year, senior Lucy Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) will head to the NCAA Championships after qualifying in the 1,500-meter quarterfinal run in the NCAA East Preliminary at Indiana University.

Having already earned All-America honors in cross country and indoor track, Van Dalen will go for a third chance for national recognition at the national championship at Drake from June 8-11.

Van Dalen ran the race in 4:17.60, easily qualifying for nationals.

Junior Hayley Green (Wellington, New Zealand) and sophomore Annie Keown (Auckland, New Zealand) competed in the 5,000 later in the day. Green finished in 16:40.14 and Keown 17 seconds later at 16:57.22.
