Staten Island, N.Y. - The Seawolves track and field team returns to Staten Island for the Fastrack National Invite.
"This is the last meet before we compete in the America East Championships
in two weeks in Boston, so it's a very important meet," said head coach
Andy Ronan.
"It is the last chance for our athletes to sharpen up physically and mentally for the championships," Ronan added. "This will be a great opportunity to do that, as they will be competing against some of the best track programs on the east coast, such as Villanova and Georgetown."
"It is also the last opportunity for some of the squad to earn their seat on the bus to Boston. We are looking forward to seeing how both squads deal with the competition and pressure that comes with earning a spot at the America East Championships."
Competition will begin at
1 p.m.
