Ohlmiller sisters tally nine points each as No. 4 Stony Brook downs Johns Hopkins

BALTIMORE – Junior Kylie Ohlmiller (Islip, N.Y.) and freshman Taryn Ohlmiller (Islip, N.Y.) tallied four goals and five assists each as the No. 4 Stony Brook women's lacrosse team picked up its seventh-straight victory, a 16-6 win over Johns Hopkins Tuesday night at Homewood Field. With the win, the Seawolves improve to 12-1, while the Blue Jays drop to 9-5.

Kylie Ohlmiller's five assists helped break the program career assist record of 135, held by Carlee Buck since 2007. Ohlmiller now has 138 assists in her first three years at Stony Brook.

Coach Spallina's Take
"I couldn't be more proud of this group. In a midweek road game on national television playing a team that really needed the game, our team stepped up and played its most complete game of the season. We didn't turn the ball over and had a very high assist-to-goal ratio. It was a complete team effort and this helps build our postseason resume. We have a quick turnaround with another away game Friday at Vermont but we're going to enjoy this one for a little."
