Kaylyn Gordon and Annika Sisson are set to compete at the NCAA

Lexington, KY – Day three of the NCAA first round includes Kaylyn Gordon in the triple Jump and Annika Sisson in the 1500m quarter final.

Annika Sisson will run in the women's 1500m. There are two heats and the top five plus next two best times advance to NCAA semifinals.

Kaylyn Gordon will compete in the women's triple jump. There are four flights and the top twelve performances advance to Eugene, Oregon.

"Kaylyn has been waiting patiently for the last few days to get her opportunity to participate in the first round. She is one of the best competitors we have in the program so we are excited to see her perform this evening. I know she going to give all she has and hopefully that might be enough to get to the next stage," said head coach Andy Ronan.

"Annika has a great opportunity tonight, and I feel she is fit enough to take advantage of it. She needs to respect her competitors, but believe in her own ability. If she stays focused and executes a good tactical race then she will be right in the mix for a seat on the plane to Oregon," added Ronan.
