Kylie Ohmiller (Islip, N.Y.) from women's lacrosse took home the Female Athlete of the Year award, while Male Athlete of the Year was given to senior
Lucas Woodhouse (Greenlawn, N.Y.) of men's basketball.
Kylie, who helped guide the Seawolves to their fifth straight America East Conference title, enters the NCAA Tournament as the nation's leader in points and assists and is four points away from breaking the NCAA Division I single-season points record and 10 assists away from breaking the single-season assist mark. She received the America East Offensive Player of the Year honor as well and the conference championship Most Outstanding Player award.
Woodhouse earned first team All-America East honors and was named NABC District 1 first team. He led the Seawolves is scoring, assists and steals in 2016-17 and was atop the conference in both assists and free throw percentage.
The Female Rookie of the Year award went to
Taryn Ohmiller (Islip, N.Y.) from women's lacrosse. Taryn, the America East Rookie of the Year and first team all-conference selection, enters the NCAA Tournament as the nation's leading freshman in points and ranks 11
th overall.
Tom Haun (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) of the men's lacrosse team took home the Male Rookie of the Year Wolfie. Haun finished third on the team in goals and second in assists and was an America East All-Rookie team selection.
Senior
Megan Cooney (Highland Ranch, Colo.) of women's cross country and track and field and junior
Vince Erdei (Budapest, Hungary) of men's soccer were the winners of the Female and Male Scholar-Athlete awards. Cooney is set to graduate next week with a perfect 4.0 GPA with a health and science degree and recently received one of only 14 SUNY Chancellor's Awards for Academic Excellence. Erdei is set to also graduate next week with a 3.9 GPA with a double major in applied math and statistics and economics and will begin his masters in finance at Stony Brook this fall while he finishes in eligibility on the soccer field.

Ray Bolden (Euless, Texas) from football and senior
Kristin Yevoli (Massapequa, N.Y.) of women's lacrosse were presented the Athletic Director's Award by Stony Brook Director of Athletics
Shawn Heilbron for their embodiment of Stony Brook athletic's ideals and core values.
Danni Kemp was the recipient of the Dave Alexander Courage Award, which is given to a member of Stony Brook Athletics who has demonstrated uncommon bravery in the face of adversity. Kemp, a member of the Seawolves' softball team, passed away in March following her brave battle against cancer. The award is named in honor of the late Dave Alexander, who coached swimming & diving at Stony Brook for 32 years.

Maggie Fleming (Farmingdale, N.Y.) of cross country and senior
Kofi Osei-Tutu (Trondheim, Norway) of men's soccer received the Seawolves Impact Award. These honors are given to a student-athlete who has demonstrated exceptional contributions to his or her sports on the playing surface as well as within the campus and community.
Bolden and junior
Carolyn Carrera (Riverhead, N.Y.) of women's lacrosse received the male and female NSCA All-American Award. The award recognizes an individual's athletic accomplishments and their dedication to strength and conditioning.

Alex Corpolongo (Purdys, N.Y.) were recipients of the SUNY Chancellor Awards for outstanding achievement in athletics and academics among SUNY's Div. I schools in their respective sports.
