STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook tennis team is back in action this weekend as they travel to the Army Invitational. At the invitational, there will be 19 other teams with the Seawolves competing.
 
Tournament schedule:

Friday
- Play starts at 9:00 AM. Two rounds of main draw doubles, one round of main draw singles
- Play at Malek Outdoor Tennis Center #1 doubles matches and A,B,C singles matches
- Play at Lichtenburg Indoor Tennis Center #2 and 3 doubles matches,  D and E singles matches
- Weather dependent, there is a chance that #3 doubles and E singles matches will be play at Match Point Tennis facility in Goshen, N.Y.

Saturday 
- Play starts at 9:00 AM. One round of doubles main draw, two rounds of main draw singles, and two round of consolation singles.  
- Play at Malek Outdoor Tennis Center #1 and #2 doubles matches and A,B,C, singles main draw 
- Play at Lichtenburg Indoor Tennis Center #3 doubles, D, E singles main draw and all consolation matches

Sunday 
- Play starts at 9:00 AM.
- Singles semifinals, followed by the doubles finals, concluding with the singles final.
- All matches will be played outdoors.
 
"We're looking forward to getting another chance to compete again this weekend. In doubles - our focus will be to get more aggressive and finish points at the net. In singles action - we'll look to take control of neutral balls earlier in the point, and not give away too many free points," said head coach Gary Glassman.
