CEDAR FALLS, IA. -Â After a first round bye after earning the number one seed in the tournament, the Stony Brook women's tennis team is set to take on four-seeded Missouri State in the semifinals on Saturday. The match will take place at 11 am (ET).

"As defending champions, Missouri State will be awfully tough tomorrow. They have a lot of experience and we'll need to come out with a fast start in doubles. It should prove to be a great match!" said head coach

The Bears finished the regular season with a 10-10 record (3-2 MVC). Ellie Burger has the best singles record on the team (16-5), and is a perfect 4-0 at the No. 5 position. In doubles, Burger and Anna Alons have a 8-8 record at the No. 1 position.Â

Jamie Wei (Hong Kong, China) looks to continue her dominating season at the No. 1 position. Wei finished the regular season with a 14-2 record in singles, and 11-4 in doubles.Â
