STONY BROOK, N.Y. — As the Stony Brook Athletic Department continues to monitor developments with 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the safety and overall well-being of student-athletes, staff and fans are of the utmost concern. Out of an abundance of caution, the following road events have been canceled:

• Softball at the Seattle University tournament (March 13-15)
• Men's lacrosse at Princeton (April 4)
• Women's lacrosse at USC (March 15)
• Women's tennis at Brown (March 14), at Northern Iowa (March 21) and Drake (March 22)
All schedules are subject to change as more information becomes available.
Stony Brook University continues to closely monitor the guidance provided by the CDC and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH). Stony Brook University Interim President Michael Bernstein recently advised students, faculty and staff who have traveled through countries that have been designated by the U.S. Department of State for Level 2 Alerts and Level 3 Travel Warnings due to the spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus in those areas that they are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine and are not permitted on campus.
