STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Stony Brook Athletics is headed to Optimum TV.

Cable subscribers in Suffolk and Nassau counties will be able to watch the newly launched Seawolves Weekly on Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. on Optimum Channel 20.

The weekly show will take you behind the scenes to get to know the student-athletes and coaches affiliated with Stony Brook Athletics.

Seawolves Weekly is hosted by Long Island natives Sam Rothman and Jonah Karp.

The premiere episode airs this Thursday evening.

It includes a recap of Harrison Matsuoka's first-round selection in the National Lacrosse League draft, an exclusive sitdown interview with athletic director Shawn Heilbron to discuss the progress toward returning to game action, a celebration of Latinx Heritage Month as well as behind-the-scenes access to the Stony Brook women's lacrosse team's win last season against fourth-ranked Syracuse inside the Carrier Dome.
