BURLINGTON, Vt. — Ally Kennedy and the Stony Brook women's lacrosse team continued their America East dominance on Saturday.
Kennedy matched her career with seven goals and the sixth-ranked Seawolves defeated host Vermont, 19-8.
Taryn Ohlmiler contributed a hat trick along with two assists, while
Ellie Masera,
Siobhan Rafferty and
Bridget Considine had two goals apiece.
Kameron Halsall made nine saves before turning duties over to
Hayley Hunt in goal.
Kennedy also tallied seven goals against UAlbany in 2019.
Stony Brook (9-2, 5-0 AE) has now won 49 straight games against America East opponents.
"Today was an awesome team win and effort," Kennedy said. "I'm proud of how we fought on the draw circle and played together on offense. Having eight different goals scorers is a tribute to our depth offensively. We love coming home with a win."
The Seawolves return to action on April 11 at New Hampshire.
