STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Stony Brook tennis team won its third match in a row on Saturday afternoon, knocking off Binghamton 6-1 at the University Courts.
Carmen Victoria Villalba Rubio and Sara Medved clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 victory in the No. 3 slot after the first two spots were decided in convincing fashion.
In the day's singles play,
Mathilde Sreeves and Rubio each earned a three-set victory to help fend the Binghamton comeback effort. Loreto Villalba Rubio and Ara Jayakrishna joined Medved in convincing two-set wins to give the Seawolves their six points on the day.
