NORTH HAVEN, Conn. –  The Stony Brook tennis team (2-3) took on the Quinnipiac Bobcats on the road on Saturday night and fell, 4-2.
 
Stony Brook was successful in its doubles matches. Senior Kristine Theys and freshman Debby Mastrodima won their doubles match, 6-0. Graduate Loreto Villalba-Rubio and junior Chandrika Joshi won their doubles match, 6-3. 
 
The Seawolves racked up one point in their doubles matches and another in a singles match. Villalba-Rubio won her singles match, 6-2 and 6-3, in straight sets.
 
The Bobcats were able to come back and win the match during their singles matches.

NEXT UP
Stony Brook will hit the court again on Saturday, Feb. 24, when it travels to New Jersey to take on the Seton Hall Pirates. The match will begin at 6:45 p.m.
