NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – The Stony Brook tennis team (2-3) took on the Quinnipiac Bobcats on the road on Saturday night and fell, 4-2.
Stony Brook was successful in its doubles matches. Senior
Kristine Theys and freshman
Debby Mastrodima won their doubles match, 6-0. Graduate
Loreto Villalba-Rubio and junior
Chandrika Joshi won their doubles match, 6-3.
The Seawolves racked up one point in their doubles matches and another in a singles match. Villalba-Rubio won her singles match, 6-2 and 6-3, in straight sets.
The Bobcats were able to come back and win the match during their singles matches.
