WEST POINT, N.Y – The Stony Brook tennis team took on the Villanova Wildcats on the road on Friday afternoon and fell, 4-1.
The squad earned their point in doubles, as the squad picked up two victories during the tandem play. After capturing a doubles victory yesterday, the duo of senior Kristine Theys and freshman
Debby Mastrodima followed with a thrilling 7-6 victory today.
Then, junior Chandrika Joshi and senior
Mathilde Sreeves, who also picked up victories yesterday against Towson, took the court and contributed a 6-2 victory, giving Stony Brook the point.
The Seawolves were unable to capture a victory in singles play, giving Villanova the 4-1 victory.
