STORRS, Conn. – Stony Brook tennis fell to UConn in a 5-2 decision at the Magic Lincer Tennis Academy on Friday.
Stony Brook fell to 1-3 overall for the season. In singles, sophomore
Debby Mastrodima provided a three-set victory to get Stony Brook on the board and
Cornelia Bruu-Syversen added another three-set victory to gain Stony Brook's second point.
Two freshmen in
Elena Lobo-Corral and
Mia Palladino were able to take their matches to a third set.
