CUMBERLAND, R.I. – Stony Brook tennis fell in a back-and-forth 4-3 battle at Bryant in Rhode Island on Friday.
 
Stony Brook took three singles matches, courtesy of freshman Mia Palladino in the No. 1 spot, freshman Cornelia Bruu-Syversen in the No. 4 spot and junior Sara Medved in the No. 5 position. Palladino and freshman Darian Perfiliev teamed up to win their doubles game via a tiebreaker.
 
Palladino improved her individual singles record to 5-2 on the season.
