Seawolves Suffer One-Point Defeat at Towson

Box Score TOWSON, Md. – Stony Brook tennis suffered a tough decision in a close contest at Towson, falling 4-3 to the Tigers to open its week on Thursday.
 
For the Seawolves, freshmen Mia Palladino and Elena-Lobo Corral each won their singles matches along with junior Sara Annamaria Medved. Medved and Carmen Villalba-Rubio won a doubles game during Thursday's contest.

"Tough day at the office. We had a slow start in doubles, dealt with injuries, yet almost came back to win with some gritty performances in singles. But the comeback wasn't enough today," said head coach Thiago Dualiby.

The Seawolves will finish the conference weekend with a bout against Delaware on Friday, March 15 with first serve scheduled for noon.
