Swim & Dive Win Five Events in Road Loss to Central Connecticut State

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — Stony Brook swimming & diving faced off against Central Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Blue Devils 173-127.

The Seawolves picked up five event wins during the meet, with four in the pool and one on the diving board. Francesca Baber, Alanna DePinto, Aili Talcott, and Michelle Vu recorded swim event wins, while Natalia Chornomidza won the 3-meter diving event.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Baber won the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.67).
  • DePinto took first place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.16).
  • Talcott swam to a first-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.52).
  • Vu secured a win in the 100-yard butterfly (58.91).
  • Chornomidza won the 3-meter diving event (243.23).

UP NEXT

The Seawolves are back in action next Saturday when they take on Bryant in a neutral-site matchup from New Jersey at the Joel & Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center.
