TRUMBULL, Conn. — Clutch performances in both singles and doubles play helped propel the Stony Brook tennis team to victory Saturday night, as the Seawolves defeated Fairfield 4-3.
Stony Brook took two of three doubles games to record the point, with Elena Lobo-Corral and
Mila Charles teaming up for a win in game one and the pairing of
Mia Palladino and
Sara Medved taking game three.
The Seawolves carried their momentum into singles play, as wins from Lobo-Corral, Palladino, and Lorin Tilipman proved to be the difference-maker in securing the win.
