BLUE POINT, N.Y. - The Stony Brook tennis team picked up its fourth straight victory Sunday night, downing Hofstra 6-1 in the Battle of Long Island.

From the start, it was all Stony Brook, as the Seawolves dominated doubles play by winning all three sets to secure the point. Stony Brook won the sets with a combined score of 18-4. The pairings of Lorin Tilipman / Elena Lobo-Corral, Mia Palladino / Kristi Boro, and Cornelia Bruu-Syversen / Sara Medved recorded the set wins for the Seawolves.

In singles play, Stony Brook maintained its momentum, winning five out of the six matches played. Lobo-Corral, Palladino, Tilipman, Boro, and Medved each secured victories.

UP NEXT 
Stony Brook will return to the court on Thursday for another CAA matchup against Monmouth. The match is scheduled to start at noon and will take place at Eastern Athletic of Blue Point.
