Tennis Picks Up Fifth Straight Win, Cruising Past Monmouth In CAA Showdown

BLUE POINT, N.Y.- The Stony Brook tennis team continued its winning ways on Thursday afternoon en route to its fifth consecutive victory, defeating Monmouth 6-1 in a CAA matchup.

The doubles point went in favor of the Seawolves, decisively winning all three sets. Elena Lobo-Corral and Lorin Tilipman took set one, while the duos of Mia Palladino, Kristi Boro, Sara Medved, and Cornelia Bruu-Syversen took sets two and three.

Stony Brook wrapped up its fifth straight win by winning five out of the six matches thanks to strong play from Palladino, Lobo-Corral, Tilipman, Bruu-Syversen, and Boro.

UP NEXT
The Seawolves are right back to it on Saturday, where they will wrap up the regular season against Queens College. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be played at The Stony Brook School. Saturday's match will also serve as Stony Brook's Senior Day.
