BETHPAGE, N.Y. — For the first time since 2023, the Stony Brook men's cross country team competed in the IC4A Championship, and just like that year the Seawolves once again took first place. Gartner's time of 23:47.7 was not only a full second ahead of second place, but was over a second faster than his previous career best of 23:49.1 set in the 2025 CAA Championship.
Also in the top five today was
Collin Gilstrap, who took fourth place after running a 23:57.0.
Peter Fogarty (24:23.9) and
