TOWSON, Md. — Stony Brook women's tennis rode strong singles play to a 5-2 victory over Hampton on Saturday.
After narrowly being defeated in the two and three spots of doubles, which allowed the Pirates to earn the doubles point, the Seawolves bounced back in singles action.
Stony Brook picked up wins in the first four spots, as
Elena Lobo-Corral,
Mia Palladino,
Paisha Douglas, and
Sanjana Devineni all won in straight sets to clinch the match win for the Seawolves.
Mila Charles picked up another point for Stony Brook with a win in the sixth spot.
