STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Stony Brook women's tennis dropped a highly contested battle to St. John's 4-3 on Friday afternoon.
The Seawolves played the Red Storm tough in doubles action, but fell in both completed matches as St. John's won both to take the doubles point.
In singles, Stony Brook picked up a trio of wins coming from
Elena Lobo-Corral,
Sanjana Devineni, and
Kristi Boro. The Red Storm also won three matches, allowing them to clinch the final deciding point for their 4-3 over the Seawolves.
