Head coach Geno Ford led the Stony Brook men's basketball team to 12 wins at home in 2025-26, marking the 13th time since 2009-10 that Stony Brook has posted double-digit home victories in a season. Under the guidance of second-year head coach Joy McCorvey, the Stony Brook women's basketball team finished 13-1 at home, matching the program's best mark at home since the 2019-20 season.
