STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook women's tennis program continues to excel both on the court and in the classroom, as the Seawolves earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors and placed nine student-athletes on the 2025–26 ITA Scholar-Athlete list.
The Seawolves were recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team after posting a cumulative team GPA above 3.2, meeting the organization's academic benchmark. Individually, Mia Palladino,
Elena Lobo-Corral,
Kristi Boro,
Sanjana Devineni,
Paisha Douglas,
Mila Charles,
Cornelia Bruu-Syversen,
Isadora Fares, and Sara Annamaria Medved were named ITA Scholar-Athletes after earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the academic year.
Women's tennis programs across the country continued to set the standard academically in 2025–26, with 1,501 Division I student-athletes receiving ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition and 231 programs earning ITA All-Academic Team honors.
The academic recognition comes on the heels of another successful season for the Seawolves. Stony Brook finished the 2026 campaign with seven victories, closed conference play with three consecutive wins, and saw Elena Lobo-Corral and
Paisha Douglas earn postseason conference honors.
