Biography
2010-11:
Placed fifth in the 200 IM against St. Francis on Oct. 23...took sixth in the 100 freestyle against St. Francis...finished sixth in the 1000 freestyle against Maine on Nov. 6...competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke at the ECAC Open on Dec. 3-5.
2009-10:
Competed in the 100 freestyle against Army and Boston College on Oct. 9...swam the fourth leg of the 200 medley relay against Binghamton on Feb. 6 as the quartet placed sixth.
High School:
A two-year letterwinner at Lindenhurst High School for coach Brian Washington... competed in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard fly and breaststroke and 200-yard IM... also swam relay events... also played badminton.
Personal:
Steven M. Nelson... born May, 18, 1991... son of Glen and Melody Nelson... a political science major.
