Endowments
Opportunities exist to establish a permanently named endowment that will perpetually benefit the student-athletes at Stony Brook. An endowment is a donation whose invested interest generates the funding for athletic scholarships. Donors who provide a gift to fund an endowment become permanently linked with the Stony Brook Seawolves intercollegiate athletic program.
Currently the Seawolves Club hosts six endowments that provide financial assistance to Stony Brook's student-athletes. A donor can designate his or her gift towards any of the endowments to give extra support to an area they have a special interest in. A $10,000 minimum investment is required to initiate an endowment. If you are interested in establishing an endowment, please contact the Seawolves Club.
