A total of 107 student-athletes from Stony Brook were named to the 2003-04 America East Winter/Spring Honor roll for earning a grade point average of 3.0 or above, America East Commissioner Chris Monasch announced on Thursday.
In addition, a total of 37 Seawolves were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, acknowledging GPA's of 3.5 or higher.
Stony Brook led all schools with eight selections from the men's tennis team, while the women's tennis squad was tied for first, also with eight members.
The student-athletes were members of teams in the 16 championship sports which America East offered in the winter and spring seasons including men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's indoor track and field, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track and field, softball and baseball.
