Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook University will hold a press conference on Wednesday to introduce its new director of athletics. The press conference will begin at 11 a.m. and will take place on campus in the atrium of the Indoor Sports Complex.
Stony Brook, which just completed its fourth year of Division I competition, has been in the midst of a two-month search to find a replacement for Dr. Richard Laskowski. Laskowski guided Stony Brook from the Division III level to NCAA Division I status and stepped down at the end of the spring semester.
