Our student-athletes require comprehensive support to achieve their full potential. With your generous financial contribution, Stony Brook Athletics and the Women's Basketball coaching staff can effectively meet these needs by providing holistic support to every member of the team. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Team Travel: We want to play a nationally competitive schedule and travel to and from in a first-class manner to ensure our ladies can be focused on the game and then return to a normal, day-to-day academically cooperative lifestyle.
- Technology and Training Equipment: To be the best, we have to train, prepare and develop like the best. State-of-the-art upgrades to technology in how we prepare physically, scout our opponents, recruit great players and stay ahead of the game are crucial to our success.
- Recruiting Operations: Stony Brook is a national and international university. We want to compete on the national level, and to do so, we must recruit globally. To identify, attract and produce great players from all over the world, we need the financial resources to not only see them but also invite them and their families to visit our amazing campus.
- Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience: Our goal is to provide a transformative experience for our ladies. We want this experience to be the best time of their lives both on the court and off. To provide that, we need financial support to create a winning atmosphere and culture, which requires investing in everything we do.
The "Women's Basketball Fund for Excellence" operates as a tax exempt 501 (c) (3) nonprofit entity. All donations are fully deductible to the extent allowed by applicable law.
