DJ Wilson

D.J. Wilson is in his 3rd season at Stony Brook. He joined the Stony Brook tennis staff in August of 2015.  Wilson, a native of Meriden, Kan., previously served as the assistant men's and women's tennis coach at Washington College in Maryland for two seasons.

The women's tennis team engineered an 11-win turnaround in 2015 and finished as the runner-up in the regular season and conference tournament.  They finished the season ranked 10th in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Wilson helped recruit the #17th ranked recruiting class in Division III, a first for the program.

A 2010 graduate of Southwestern College in Kansas, Wilson was a three-year letterwinner for the Moundbuilders.

Wilson, who earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, served as a Sports Information intern as a senior 

While earning his master's degree in business administration, he served as a volunteer coach for Southwestern's tennis and track teams and assistant sports information director.

Wilson has also worked at a variety of tennis camps, including the Army Tennis Camp at the United States Military Academy, the Nike Tennis Camp in Lawrenceville, N.J., and Southwestern's Summer Tennis Camp. He served as Co-Director of the Army Tennis Camp during the summer of 2013.
