Outdoor: Finished first overall in the 800-meter (1:56.66) at the Stony Brook Snowflake Classic…Earned a personal best 52.05 in the 400-meter at the Monmouth Season Opener…Competed in the 800-meter (1:55.35) and the sprint medley relay (3:32.59) at the Colonial Relays…Had a top 25 finish in the 800-meter (1:57.05) at the Friar Invitational…Finished first overall in the 800-meter (1:53.94) at the Mark Young Invitational…Competed in the 800-meter (1:53.22) for third place at the Yale Springtime Invitational…Concluded the season at the CAA Outdoor Championships, placed ninth overall in the 800-meter (1:53.69).

Indoor: Did not compete in the season.

2022-23 (Graduate Student)
Indoor: Placed seventh overall in the 800m at the CAA Indoor Championships ... Took 19th and set a new personal best in the 800m (1:53.04) at the IC4A Championships ... Part of the DMR team that earned a second place finish at the Scarlet Knight Open ... Secured a ninth place finish in the 600m at the Scarlet Knight Open ... Earned an 11th place finish in the 800m at the Penn 10-Team Select ... Recorded a seventh place finish in the mile at the Wagner Invite. 

Cross Country: Placed 25th at the Stony Brook Season Opener with a final time of 20:04.1(6K) and an average mile time of 05:22.8… Came in 117th at the Paul Short Run with a final time of 25:33.5(8K)… Placed 94th at ECAC XC Championships with a final time of 25:53.7(Men’s 8k) and an average mile time of 05:12.5… Earned a 38th-place finish at the CAA Cross Country Championships with a final time of 26:17.3(8k) and an average mile time of 05:17.4.

AT WAGNER: Placed second in the 800m at the Northeast Conference Championship ... Member of the 4x800m team that placed first at the Northeast Conference Championships ... Member of the 4x800m relay team that set a new program record and earned a second-place finish at the Penn Relays (7:28.68) ... Part of the 4x800m team that placed second at the 2021 Northeast Conference Championships ... Member of the DMR team that won the 2020 NEC Indoor Championships (10:09.96) ... Part of the 4x800m squad that took first at the 2019 Northeast Conference Championships (7:39.91) ... Part of the 4x800m squad that earned a first-place finish at the 2019 Mets Indoor Championships.

AT SUSAN E. WAGNER HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year member of the Falcons cross country and track & field programs… State qualifier in the 800m his senior year for cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field… During his senior season, was victorious at the Millrose Games… Four-time Borough champion to go along with a being a two-time City Champion… Named 2^nd Team All-Star in Cross Country his senior year… Staten Island All-Star (senior year)… Marine Corps Scholar Athlete Award as well as receiving a PSAL Student-Athlete scholarship award… National Honor Society for three years… Best time in the 800m is 1:58… Helped lead the Falcons to the 2017-18 PSAL Cross Country Championships as well as the 2017-18 PSAL Indoor and Outdoor City crown.

PERSONAL: Son of Omima and Nasir Abdalla… Has three siblings, Omar, Hamida and Tariq… Has volunteered at numerous USATF meets.
